DRILL RIG MOBILIZED TO TINKAS COLQUIPUCRO SILVER PROJECT, PERU

VANCOUVER, May 19 /CNW/ - Tinka Resources Limited (the "Company"), (TSXV - TK; Frankfurt - TLD; Pinksheets -TKRFF).  The Company advises that a diamond drill rig has been mobilized to the Companys Colquipucro silver project, west-central Peru.

Reconstruction of the access road, damaged due to heavy rains, has been completed with the assistance of the local communities.

Preparation of the initial drill pads has also been completed.

Drilling will commence as soon as possible.
