Copper Fox Announces a Grant of Incentive Options to Elmer Stewart
Calgary, Alberta, July 21, 2009: Copper Fox Metals Inc.

("Copper Fox" or the "Company")
(TSX-V: CUU) is pleased to announce its Board of Directors has approved an option grant
under its Officer and Director incentive Stock Option Plan, to Mr.

Elmer Stewart its recently
appointed President and CEO.

This grant entitles Mr.

Stewart to acquire 1,000,000 common
shares of Copper Fox at an exercise price of $0.10 per share vesting over a three year period
with the option to acquire 333,333 shares vesting immediately and the remainder vesting
monthly over three years.

The aggregate offering will be exercisable over five years.
About Copper Fox
Copper Fox"s activities are focused exclusively on Schaft Creek, one of the largest
undeveloped copper, gold, molybdenum and silver deposits in Canada.

Copper Fox has
earned a direct 70% interest in Schaft Creek and pursuant to the option agreement with Teck
may acquire an additional 23.4% interest (totaling 93.4% direct and indirect interest in the
property) subject to certain back-in rights to Teck.
Schaft Creek is located within a contiguous land package that comprises 20,932 hectares
situated in northwest British Columbia, Canada.

On September 15, 2008, Copper Fox
released the results of a preliminary feasibility study ("PFS") on the Schaft Creek deposit which
contemplated processing 100,000 tonne of ore per day from an open pit.

The PFS estimated
a National Instrument 43-101 compliant current Measured and Indicated mineral resource of
1.393 billion tonnes with an average grade of 0.25% copper, 0.18 g/t gold, 0.019%
molybdenum and 1.55g/t silver at a 0.20% copper equivalent cutoff.

Mineable reserves are
estimated to be 812 million tonnes and that this deposit could produce 4.8 billion pounds of
copper, 255.1 million pounds of molybdenum, 4.5 million ounces of gold and 32.5 million
ounces of silver over a 23 year mine life
