Rights offer closing / Exploration update More drilling planned MONDAY, 21 DECEMBER 2009
Anchor Resources Limited (ASX Code: AHR) is pleased to announce that its capital raising is progressing well.

The 1 for 5 non-renounceable rights offer, at 15c per new share, is due to close on 23 December.

Meanwhile details are being finalised for further drilling at the Wild Cattle Creek antimony deposit early in 2010.

Rights issue closes on 23 December On 13 November, Anchor announced a 1 for 5 non-renounceable rights offer to shareholders at a price of 15c per new share to raise almost $1 million to fund ongoing exploration activities, including further drilling of the Wild Cattle Creek antimony resource.

Last date for acceptance and payment is 5:00pm (AEDST) on Wednesday 23 December 2009.

Applications for the shortfall offer are also to be made at this time.

With mail services unpredictable at this time of year, BPAY details have been supplied on all personalised Entitlement and Acceptance Forms that were sent out to shareholders on 4 December.

Drilling is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2010, while additional drill testing is anticipated at the Greenvale East project"
