SANLAM COMMENT ON FINNAUSTS EXPANSION OF NEW HIGH GRADE POLYMETALLIC DISCOVERY A
T HAMMASLAHTI - TP OF 8P IS 233% UPLIFT ON CURRENT PRICE

Good morning On the back of further positive drill results from FinnAust Mining which demonstrate the expansive nature of the first high grade mineralised polymetallic lode to have been discovered at Hammaslahti in Finland, Sanlam Securities has today provided comment and reiterated its price target of 8p.

This represents a 233% uplift on the current price of 2.4p. Please see the note below and the full release attached. Best Lizzie Finnaust Mining* (FAM.L) Positive drill results Recommendation: BUY (unchanged) Price/Target: 2.4p/8p Market cap: 5.9m
Positive drilling results continue: This morning Finnaust has released two more drill results from Hammaslahti as it seeks to find more lodes which can then be put into a resource.

Drilling is focused near the historical Hammaslahti mine and the team has already discovered new (previously unknown) lodes which have the potential to be mined.

Finnaust is initially targeting 5Mt of mining inventory.
 Todays drill assays: R329 - 1.4m @ 2.34%Cu, 4.05% Zn, 0.96% Pb + some precious metals and R330 - 1.0m @ 2.24% Cu + precious metals.

These are narrower intersections than previous holes but still carry good grade and importantly the mineralised zone now extends "over 500m across the north to south strike and over 125m in the east to west".
 Previous holes: Drilled earlier this year include R317 - 5.5m @ 1.46% Cu (reported April), R325 - 5.6m at 3.2% Cu, 2.7% Zn, 0.7% Pb and some precious metals (both July), R326 - 4.0m @ 3.12% Cu, 3.78% Zn, 0.54% Pb (August)
Hammaslahti potential: Finnaust has just started exploring a large land package near an old mine.

The first drill holes have delivered good results and in some zones the rock has good value (both insitu and NSR - i.e after mining, recovery and payability factors).

More holes are needed before we understand the scale of this new area, but we also recognise the wider potential of the project especially to the North.

The licence area is relatively unexplored and the geology and structural controls are only now beginning to be understood.
