BLACKHAM RESOURCES LTD: ASX ANNOUNCEMENT 11 January 2010 BLACKHAM CONFIRMS EXTENSION TO THE NORTH OF THE SCADDAN DEPOSIT - 16 metre wide lignite intercepted from 26m down hole in exploration - Extension to lignite deposit for 7.5km outside of known resource with a current strike length of 20 km Blackham Resources Ltd (Blackham, ASX BLK) completed a 24 hole drill programme at the Scaddan Energy Project in September.

The aim was to selectively drill in the current resource and test exploration potential to the north of the deposit.

The programme was conducted using air core drilling with analytical tests performed by lignite specialists HRL Technology Pty Ltd. Exploration The Exploration drilling successfully intersected lignite to the north of the current resource.

The most significant of these being 16 meters from a depth of 26 metres and 12 metres from a depth of 32 metres.
