Exco continues to expand exploration activities within its Northwest Queensland package that covers nearly 3000km2 of prospective ground.
The latest results include:
Salebury
22 holes for 2150m have been drilled in the Salebury area during 2011, targeting extensions to previously drilled mineralisations.
New goephysical and surface geochemical surveys have also been completed, and these have highlighted presviously unknown regional structures and anomalies.
- ECRC526 intersected 14m @ 1.02% Cu and 0.28g/t Au from 70m depth.
Tanbah North
Recent RC drilling at Tanbah North has intersected quartz veining within strongly silica-biotite-carbonate altered dolerite with varying amounts of pyrite and chalcopyrite.
- ECRC543 intersected 10m @ 1.51% Cu and 1.32g/t Au from 98m depth.
Tanbah
Five RC holes were recently drilled at the prospect and have intersected locally intense pyrite-chalcopyrite bearing quartz-carbonate veining in black shale and amphibolite.
Assay results confirm the persistence of the mineralisaton in this recent drilling with a best intersection of:
- ECRC551 intersected 98m @ 0.36% Cu and 0.25g/t in hole from surface.
