Decmil Australia finalising $70M civils sub-contract with Thiess for Gorgon Project Highlights -Decmil Australia finalising sub-contract with Thiess for the design and construction of temporary construction facilities for Gorgon Project. -Contract award will lift Decmil Groups order book to A$374M (about A$156M in 2009/10 and A$218 million in 2010/11 -Work planned to start in early 2010 -In line with Decmil Groups expansion strategy for next three years Perth-based engineering and construction company Decmil Group Limited (ASX: DCG) today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Decmil Australia Pty Ltd (Decmil) is in the final stages of contract negotiations with Thiess Pty Ltd (Thiess) for the design and construction of temporary construction facilities which form part of Thiess Site Preparation & Temporary Construction Facilities contract for the Gorgon Project.

The sub-contract is expected to be approximately $70M. The sub-contracts scope of work includes: in-ground services, the installation of temporary facilities, the supply/installation of warehouses and workshops and related engineering and design.

Work is expected to commence in early 2010 with practical completion by September 2011. When the contract is finalised DGLs order book will increase to A$374 million, of which approximately A$156 million is expected to contribute to the Groups 2009/10 financial year revenues and A$218 million in the 2010/11.
