Hodges Resources [ASX: HDG] - First two holes drilled at Moiyabana Coal Project, Botswana

Hodges Resources Ltd (ASX: HDG) announces that the initial drill holes at the Moiyabana Coal Project have confirmed the presence of wide intersections of coal seams at open pit mineable depths.

* Significant intercept of coal at shallow depths from initial drilling at Moiyabana coal project in central 5otswana.
* First hole intersects 32 meters of coal in 2 seams, from 24 metres.
* Second hole intersects 51 meters of coal in 3 seams, from 38 meters.

The company has drilled two diamond core holes on the Moiyabana project. The first intersected the initial coal seam at a depth of 24.5m while the second hit the initial coal seam at a depth of 38m. The holes are located 1km apart.

The results from these initial inferred drilling holes are very encouraging and confirm that coal identified by the historical exploration within the area is present at shallow depths,� Hodges Managing Director Mark Major said.
