Strong 3km Wide Gold Zone Confirms Gold Hotspot Along Batie West

Castle Minerals Limited is pleased to announce that the Companys ongoing soil sampling program in northern Ghana has reported a 3km wide zone of anomalous soils against very low background values.

Within this wide zone, five discrete anomalies have been identified including the highest soil value ever received in this area (~621ppb gold).

This general area is variably affected by alluvial and laterite cover and the presence of gold "seeing" through this cover is very encouraging.

Castles Managing Director, Mr Mike Ivey, said "This is the first soil sampling undertaken in this area and our initial results are reporting very strong zones of surface anomalism that on a regional basis we consider highly significant.

The scale of the area requires considerable infill work and we are very confident that a substantial gold target will be defined for drilling."

These strong gold results are from Castles Wa South prospect in north-west Ghana that is being explored for gold mineralisation associated with the interpreted extension of the Batie West shear zone.

This area is also 5km WNW of a previously announced line of soil anomalism that included numerous values above 100ppb gold suggesting that widespread gold mineralization is present.

The sampling undertaken is conventional manually collected soils from approximately 40cm depth and a 20,000m auger drilling program has been booked to test this large area in detail and collect samples beneath areas of surface cover.
