The dynamics of the global resource sector continued to change rapidly as exploration and mining companies struggled to alter existing business strategies and respond to unstable market conditions.
Fortunately, negative sentiment towards global emerging markets has declined as transitional countries with emerging middle-class populations such as China continued executing its resource campaigns to meet future commodity demands.
International Lithium Corp.
has proven it’s adapting to these fast changing market conditions by maximizing internal resources and developing new initiatives to advance its projects.
Most recently strengthening its ties with China based partner Gangfeng Lithium, one of the largest and most versatile Lithium products suppliers in the world, through additional investments and advanced payments on the early stage projects that the companies currently have under option.
We are confident that ILC’s management team and partners have the understating and ability to lead the company and maintain its primary objectives.
The road to discovery requires careful assessment and ingenuity to mitigate risk and maximize success.
Our team has demonstrated we have the skills to identify high quality projects with limited exploration risk and are ready to advance our properties.
As an exploration company our core objective is to identify hidden opportunity and to ascertain quickly and efficiently the potential for any given target to hold a mineral resource.
At ILC our greatest assets are the individuals that work together to achieve our goals, these include:
We maintain a core set of projects while continuing to evaluate new opportunities:
We would like to shed some light on the significance of our affiliation with Gangfeng Lithium and the opportunity it brings to ILC.
As one of the largest Li metal producers (the largest in the world in 2011) Gangfeng is currently looking at ILC as one of their potential Lithium suppliers.
The company owns 17.5% of ILC and continues to support many of our operations through their expertise and financial backing.
This alliance provides ILC with several critical advantages:
-
established distribution networks
-
diverse Lithium product
-
flexible and fast reaction to market demand
-
highly committed and experienced operating team
-
unique blend of advanced technologies to extract and manufacture varieties of Li
-
anticipated increasing production (as confirmed by company)
-
over 900 employees specializing in lithium production
Our most recent undertaking with Gangfeng Lithium was a joined visit to the Blackstairs project, Ireland.
The purpose was to conduct a site visit, and strengthen rapport with Gangfeng, and investigate local conditions (business and environmental) affecting the property.
The leading representatives on the trip on behalf of ILC were Kirill Kilp, the company President and John Harrop, the Vice President of Exploration, both of who had the following to comment:
“The pegmatites in Ireland and down the eastern coast of North America to the North Carolina tin-spodumene belt were formed during the same geological event millions of years ago as several continents collided to form the supercontinent Gondwana. This makes the lithium pegmatites in North Carolina one of the best geological analogues for what we are working on in Ireland. In North Carolina the belt is better exposed and exploration there resulted in the discovery of deposits that became company builders for two of the current leading lithium producers. The success of the North Carolina belt is one of the compelling motivations for ongoing exploration and development on the Blackstairs Project, which encompasses the entire 35 km length of the Irish Lithium Belt.” John Harrop, ILC VP Exploration.
“Our recent visit to the site was part of an extensive due diligence process that Ganfeng Lithium conducted on the property.
In conclusion, our partner will finalize their decisions on the Blackstairs agreement by the end of September (July 31, 2013 Agreement).
We have provided all our research concerning the property, including geological results and assessments of the business and environmental factors that can affect the project and now look forward to Gangfeng’s decision.” (For further details please follow the following link http://internationallithium.com/s/newsroom.asp?ReportID=596487)
We hope that you share in ILC’s long-term vision as we work towards discovering and recovering mineral resources for green technologies of our future.
Our strategy is to continue moving forward with a solid team, experienced partner and quality projects that we believe can move ILC projects toward feasibility.
