STONEHENGE METALS SECURES 15 NEW APPLICATIONS IN HIGHLY PROSPECTIVE SOUTH KOREAN URANIUM PROVINCE

ASX ANNOUNCEMENT ASX CODE: SHE 12 May 2010 STONEHENGE METALS SECURES 15 NEW APPLICATIONS IN HIGHLY PROSPECTIVE SOUTH KOREAN URANIUM PROVINCE - Stonehenge moves to strengthen its ground position with 15 new tenement applications at its flagship Daejon Project. -Historical data on the new application areas includes mapping, sampling and drilling. -Applications capture extensions of known mineralisation and will position Stonehenge to increase resources targets The Directors of Stonehenge Metals Limited (Stonehenge or the Company) advise that the Company has applied for 15 new tenement areas at the Daejon Project, located 25km south of Daejon City in South Korea.

The new tenements compliment Stonehenges existing Daejon Project tenements and once granted will allow the Company to expand its future uranium exploration programs. The new application areas are strategically positioned in relation to the Daejon Project and were selected for their potential to significantly extend the strike length of the current resources and known mineralisation. The current resources are open along strike and at depth. The Directors are confident that the new tenement areas can add significant value to Stonehenges already established uranium resources in South Korea.
Exploration Program Stonehenge plans to commence an aggressive diamond drilling campaign of up to 15,000 meters by the end of June 2010.

This exploration program is expected to expand and up-grade the current resources with initial focus on the Daejon Project.

Drilling of the area is expected to continue for much of 2010 and to provide data for a resource up-grade during that time.
