Please find below the highlights of an announcement made to the ASX today regarding the first set of results from the 2009 exploration/extension drilling program at the Nyota Prospect, part of the Companys wholly owned Mkuju River Project in southern Tanzania.
Highlights: * Significant new area of mineralisation identified in exploration drilling at Nyota; * The mineralisation lies approximately one kilometre to the north-east of the existing resource area and remains open in all directions; * Mineralisation intersected at shallow depths (from surface), with thicknesses up to 56 metres; and * Three drill rigs currently in operation at site leading to a steady flow of infill and exploration/extension drilling results over coming months.
